  1. Definitions
    1. Agreement means the contract entered into between the Exhibitor and the Organiser for the purposes of the Event
    2. Contract means this contract.
    3. Event means the Logan Business Expo ‘LEXPO’ as organised and promoted by the Organiser.
    4. Exhibitor means a party, including employees, agents and contractors, who have entered into an agreement regarding site space at the event.
    5. Organiser means Logan Chamber of Commerce Inc.
    6. Site space means the area appointed and allocated to the Exhibitor for the agreed period of the Event.
  2. Exhibitor’s Rights and Responsibilities
    1. No Exhibitor will allocate to anyone or sublet the site space that has been allocated and appointed to them unless prior approval has been obtained from the Organiser.
    2. No Exhibitor will interfere with the equipment, property and site space of any other Exhibitor and exhibit, and will ensure that their activities remain within the boundaries of the site space that has been allocated and appointed to them.
    3. Material presented by the Exhibitor must be appropriate, non-offensive and not contravene the intellectual property of any other person, be to the detriment of other Exhibitors and their exhibits, including visual and audio material.
    4. No exhibit must be left unattended or unsupervised during the Event.
    5. Site space must remain clean, tidy and hazard free.
    6. All Exhibitor’s must follow all directions and instructions provided by staff employed or engaged by the Organiser.
    7. All Exhibitor’s must comply with all relevant laws, Occupational Health and Safety requirements, Workplace Health and Safety requirements, venue guidelines, and further requirements advised by the Organiser.
    8. All Exhibitor’s must wear high visibility tops and enclosed shoes during the event set-up and dismantle.
    9. No Exhibitor will use trolleys with plastic wheels (wide rubber wheels accepted) during the set-up, dismantle and Event.
    10. Exhibit stands and tables are the responsibility of the Exhibitor as no stands or tables will be provided.
    11. All Exhibitor’s requiring power for their exhibit must inform the Organiser who will provide the service at an additional cost.
    12. All Exhibitor’s must advise the Organiser of a suitable time for the set-up process of their exhibit.
    13. All Exhibitor’s agree and consent to any images of participants taken by the official Exhibition photographer to remain the property of the Organiser, and the Organiser reserves the right to use any such images to promote future Exhibitions.
  3. Public Liability and Indemnity
    1. The Exhibitors must take out and maintain during the term of the Agreement a valid and enforceable public liability insurance policy that provides coverage of at least $10 million per occurrence and on request by the Organiser immediately provide the Organiser with a certificate of currency in respect of that policy.
    2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser:
      1. Excludes all conditions and warranties implied into this Contract and Agreement.
      2. Excludes any liability to the Exhibitor for any indirect, special or consequential loss, costs or damage (including, but not limited to, loss of profits, economic loss, loss of personal property) arising out of the Contract and Agreement, whether arising as a result of any act, omission or negligence of the Organiser or otherwise.
      3. Each party’s liability under the Contract and Agreement is diminished to the extent that the other party’s acts or omissions contribute to or cause the loss or liability.
  4. Privacy Policy
    1. All Exhibitor’s warrant and agree all personal information collected by the Exhibitor will be dealt with in a lawful manner and complies with the relevant provisions within the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and associated laws.
